To reduce the environmental footprint of New Mexico communities, several local non-profits have joined to offer a new program called Green Energy New Mexico.
Green Energy New Mexico supports clean, pollution-free energy using BEF Carbon Offsets. Your purchase of BEF Carbon Offsets supports the replacement of traditional polluting energy technologies, including fossil fuel sources, with renewable sources like solar and wind power.
BEF will set aside twenty percent of the gross revenues generated from New Mexico sales in a reinvestment fund. These funds will be committed to supporting the development of new renewable energy facilities in New Mexico.
Travelers to New Mexico can now offset their tourism activities with Green Energy New Mexico. Visit the Albuquerque Convention & Visitors Bureau or the Santa Fe Convention & Visitors Bureau and look for the Green Energy New Mexico logo.
